In June 2024, the PANDA creative team worked with neurodivergent learners at St John’s College Brighton to co-produce dens as creative spaces.Activities in the dens ranged from simple sensory enjoyment of a peaceful and friendly space to chill, to one of the larger dens morphing into a pirate ship and a full blown drama.

DEN was also the first steps in co-designing a new POD: a portable immersive performance facility, similar to the one used in Imagining Autism, only light weight, flexible and, importantly, designed with input from neuro-divergent young people. Future plans include fund raising for this new space to tour arts centres and schools, as well as building more, well…. more dens of course!
